CHAPTER 2: SOMBRER AVEC MOI

It’s calling me. Haunting me. 

Taking me down. It always comes back. 

I let it in. It’s consuming me. 

And I guess a part of me likes it. 

Likes the misery. The drowning. 

But you, you, don’t deserve this.

You are fighting. 

You never stop. Je te regarde te battre. 

Et je reste là. Accablée. Déjà trop abîmée. 

Je n’y crois pas assez. 

Mais toi oui. Infatigable.

Mon désespoir nous enterre. 

A part of me has already given up. 

Never really believed. 

And I don’t want to take you down with me.

I want you to fly.  I want to fly with you.

But a part of me is set like this. Abandoned.
