MATERIALS
An important part of the blazer's personality is defined by the selection of its fabrics and the feeling they create. YOMI primarily uses feather-light cashmeres and virgin wool blends from Italy, with a péché mignon for faux fur. It’s all about softness and luxurious textures: long-haired, silky fabric for flamboyance, and shorter-haired, dry-touch fabric for effortless chic.
YOMI RESPONSIBILITY page will tell you more about our fabric suppliers, origins, and fibre selection. Each product page will provide the exact composition of each product.

COLOUR BLOCKING
The development and selection of colours are integral to displaying the YOMI decadence and attitude. The outer and inner hues, and the vibrant embrace of the silhouettes, are specifically chosen based on the fabric's movement, the overall mood, the fit, and the individual cut of each blazer style. The inner lining colours receive the same level of consideration, executed in the YOMI distinct jacquard monogram pied-de-poule linings. With each new collection, five new colours are chosen and elegantly balanced against the outer colour palette, creating a truly unique feel for each piece.
The process of devising and selecting the colour palette is essentially organic, allowing the cut and style of each piece to determine its complementary colours. The next step is to create the correct hue for the selected fabric, starting from dyed fabric samples called lab dips. Our lab dipping process is often very long (sometimes too long, but necessary) to ensure the colour is fully encapsulated in the desired fabric.

THE BUTTONS
The "BUTTONS-BIJOUX" are another distinctive element of YOMI. While retaining the sentimental essence of their nostalgically inspired past, they also hint at extravagance. They bring a touch of glow and sensuality to the world of YOMI, representing opulence, one of the essential attributes of the Diva.
You can find everything you need to know about the buttons story on our dedicated BUTTONS page.

MONOGRAMMED LINING
The YOMI monogram met the 'pied-de-poule'—it's love. The pattern is made in woven jacquard in a silky recycled viscose. A flash of colour-filled fun, the linings are not an afterthought but are as integral to the blazer as the main outer fabric.

THE FIT
YOMI loves oversized shapes and amplified shoulder lines, with some styles even featuring double shoulder pads for an exaggerated, extravagant look.
Each pattern, sample, and model fitting is a detailed process where every nip and tuck transforms the blazer once worn. Lapels need to be sharp, cropped waists concise, and shoulders well-defined.
